Founded in 1998 by Dr Bert Flossbach and Kurt von Storch in Cologne, Flossbach von Storch remains predominantly owned by the founders and their families. Flossbach von Storch has been present in Switzerland since 2006.

Today, it is the largest independent asset manager in continental Europe, managing around EUR 70 billion in assets with a team of more than 400 employees.
